The BT Premium Phone screens incoming calls:
- Numbers on your contact list get straight through
- Numbers you have blocked are rejected (selected by user)
- For all other calls the blocker asks the caller to say their name and then asks the user whether they want to accept or block the call without speaking to the caller.
The Premium Phone can block 1000 individual numbers, meaning that you really can avoid speaking to the people you dont want to. Over time, the phone learns which callers you do and dont want to hear.
Choose the type of calls you want to block. For example, mobile, international, withheld, unavailable or payphone numbers can all be blocked. Plus you can even block numbers by location (i.e. Use the area code or a suffix).
For those times when you just want some peace and quiet, switch on Do Not Disturb so that your phone wont ring or light up. If you want key friends and family to still get through, they can do, by tagging them as VIPs in your address book.
